    Carmen

    Owner

As the owner and manager of Klondike Travel & Yukon Tours in Whitehorse Yukon, Carmen built the business from a hobby to the most progressive travel company in the Yukon.

Living on a gold claim in her youth, hunting & fishing, exploring, foraging, and hiking, often on her own with the family dog, taught her respect for the land, the history of those who were there before us, and the peace that being in the moment can bring.  Cherishing the little things like a new wildflower blossom, or a friend's smile, or the wag of a dog's tail, brings us back to what really matters. That is how she looks at business. The little things are most important.

Being an entrepreneur fills Carmen’s cup with much personal and business satisfaction, but her secret happy place is fishing on the lakes and streams or spoiling her two dogs, Johnny & June.

    Andrea

    Operations & Tour Development

Andrea grew up surrounded by tourism in the Mexican Caribbean and began working in the industry as soon as she completed her Masters in Ecotourism & Outdoor leadership at the University of Quintana Roo in her hometown Chetumal.

After participating in an exchange program with Mount Royal University in Calgary she was taken by Canada’s beauty and moved to the Yukon in 2016 where she joined the Yukon Tours team. With two decades of industry experience and her own travel experiences through out Canada, the USA, Central America & Europe, Andrea enjoys helping people make the most out of their dream travels and discovering new destinations.

Andrea loves hiking in the summer and never gets tired of watching the dancing northern lights.

  • Kieran

    Sales & Customer Care

Growing up in Whitehorse, Kieran learned early that the best connections happen when you meet people where they are. This philosophy carried him from the tech corridors of Vancouver through software engineering roles that spanned continents, before finding his true calling in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Kieran doesn't just handle bookings and answer questions – he crafts connections between the Wild beauty of the Yukon and the travelers who dream of experiencing it. His passion for exploring this incredible territory drives everything he does, from hiking remote trails to discovering hidden lakes that most people never see. Every adventure reinforces his belief that behind every inquiry and booking is a person seeking their own unforgettable experience in the North. That understanding of what makes travel truly special is what he brings to every conversation with clients.
