ABOUT YUKON TOURS

The Yukon’s Friendliest Travel Experts

We let travellers experience the Yukon to its fullest by reducing their stress, increasing their safety, and leveraging our insider connections.

Welcome to our Wild.

The Yukon is a Wild destination beyond explanation. This place has more moose than people, and 80% of its land is wilderness. It’s home to the longest river in Canada and the tallest peak. It’s a destination that holds up to its own legendary status. The Yukon is cherished by present-day inhabitants with reverence towards the indigenous keepers of these lands - the 14 respected First Nations that came before the rest. From the longest mammal migration in the world of over 200,000 wild caribou to the wild west style of the Gold Rush to the oldest operating casino in Canada, the Yukon is WILD.

It’s a Wild that can make for the best trip of your life, or turn everything upside down in a heartbeat. That’s where Yukon Tours comes in.

We create custom Yukon tour packages.

Our itineraries are co-created with your needs in mind. Experience the Wild the way you want to at the pace you're most comfortable with. We’ll take the time to understand your group - who you are, what you love, and any special considerations. Then, we’ll put together the perfect package, leveraging our experience and relationships to deliver value and the best experience possible.

We respect this place.

We prioritize a positive impact on the local communities, and by having respectful conduct while protecting the environment with high industry standards, honouring local traditions and heritage, and providing a space for a mutual sharing of knowledge. We also understand the conditions and seasonal concerns, so we can help you navigate this Territory safely.

We were looking for someone to organize a fly and drive holiday to the Yukon when we found Yukon Tours. Andrea was helpful and knowledgeable and kept in touch with us during our trip, too! Her choices for hotels and sites were just right for our first - and hopefully not last - trip to the Yukon! Thank you for hosting us!

Carmen

Owner / Manager

As the owner and manager of Klondike Travel & Yukon Tours in Whitehorse Yukon, Carmen built the business from a hobby to the most progressive travel company in the Yukon.

Living on a gold claim in her youth, hunting & fishing, exploring, foraging, and hiking, often on her own with the family dog, taught her respect for the land, the history of those who were there before us, and the peace that being in the moment can bring.  Cherishing the little things like a new wildflower blossom, or a friend's smile, or the wag of a dog's tail, brings us back to what really matters. That is how she looks at business. The little things are most important.

Being an entrepreneur fills Carmen’s cup with much personal and business satisfaction, but her secret happy place is fishing on the lakes and streams or spoiling her two dogs, Johnny & June.
