About the Resort

Overlooking Tagish Lake and its breathtaking scenery, enjoy a luxurious stay at the Southern Lakes Resort.

Your Villa wide open living rooms are appointed with an array of cushions, the perfect escape in which to relax during the day and recline in the evening enjoying the amazing view or with a bit of luck, the Northern Lights.

Let our chefs surprise you with their latest creations! We take great pride in offering our guests a small but eclectic choice of dishes, both hearty and elegant, at an affordable price. Your dishes are prepared with great care with ingredients locally sourced wherever possible.

Example Itinerary

Day One - Take your private flightseeing transfer into the Resort and check into your deluxe Villa and start unwinding.

In the evening enjoy your gourmet dinner and if you are lucky maybe watch the Northern Lights cascading over the skies.

Day Two - Enjoy a delicious breakfast before joining your guided snowshoe walk around the lake.

In the afternoon relax and unwind at the resort facilities before enjoying another amazing dinner.

Day Three - Today you will experience our Dog Sledding Tours with the famous musher, multiple Iditarod and Yukon Quest finisher Michelle Phillips, and her partner Ed Hopkins. Both of them and their team of guides are keen to share their passion for breeding, raising and racing dogs!

In the evening enjoy your last dinner at the resort and relax on the deck of the lounge with a cup of hot cocoa or a glass of wine.

Day Four - After another delicious breakfast, you will be transferred back to Whitehorse airport for your flight home or for the next part of your Yukon Adventure.
