From gold panning to glaciers, this drive packs in many historic attractions and natural wonders into one magnificent loop. This route takes you from Whitehorse through Dawson City to Alaska on the Top of the World Highway and returning to Canada through Beaver Creek and Haines Junction.

Package Includes: 6 nights accommodation, airport shuttle service, 7 day vehicle rental (includes unlimited Km, LDW, Windshield and tire insurance, extra driver and 3rd party liability).

Not included in the package: Transportation to and from Whitehorse, meals, tours and activities, personal extras, gratuities, travel insurance.


Prices are per person and based on shared double occupancy. All prices include GST.
Single, Triple, Quad occupancies available and Hotel upgrade available on request.


Requirement: A valid passport and/or travel documents for the United States are required.

Day tours and activities

Round trip flights from Air North's gateway cities (Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Yellowknife).


Itinerary


Day One

Arrive in Whitehorse, Capital City of the Yukon Territory.


Transfer to your hotel located in the heart of the city, not far from the banks of the Yukon River. Whitehorse is small and easy to explore on foot or by vehicle.

Day Two


Drive along the Klondike Highway to Dawson City. Enjoy the scenery and stop in at some of the small Yukon towns along the way.

Day Three


Experience the Gold Rush! Spend the day exploring Dawson and all of the rich history that lives in this area. Go panning for gold, take a day tour to Tombstone Territorial park and get a bird's eye view of the landscape from the Top of the Midnight Dome.

Day Four


Drive along the famous Top of the World Highway to Tok, Alaska. You better pull over a few times to admire the landscapes because you won't be able to keep your eyes on the road!

Day Five


Drive to Haines Junction through Beaver Creek. Make plenty of stops along the way as you travel alongside Kluane National Park and the incredible St Elias Mountains.

Day Six


Spend the day exploring Kluane National Park. Go for a day hike, relax beside a lake and marvel at the beauty of nature.

Day Seven


Drive back to Whitehorse where you will depart or extend your stay to do some more exploring!


Notes:


Due to the nature of this package, changes to the itinerary are a possibility.

Vehicle Rental Options- compact car, mid-size car, full-size car or Standard SUV.

Extra additional drivers can be added if needed for fee of $7.95 p/day p/driver.

Minimum age to drive is 21 years old and any driver in between 21 to 24 years old must pay an underage fee of $20 p/day p/driver.


A deductible of $1000 for LDW is required and the driver is responsible for the pre-authorization which will be taken on a credit card at the moment of pick up.
