Carcross & Southern Lakes | Full Day Hiking Tour

Tour down to Carcross and the Southern Lakes and stop and famous sites and attractions with a day hike included!
Starting in Whitehorse, we stop first at the beautiful Miles Canyon with its famous suspension bridge and continue on to the South Klondike Highway here the mountains rise as we approach Carcross and the Southern Lakes region - which is well known as a photographer's paradise. We visit the smallest desert in the world - the Carcross desert - and we visit Carcross, a charming lake shore village teeming with First Nations and gold rush history. On a beginner-level hiking tour on scenic trails, we will be overlooking the grand Southern Lakes. This region is nowadays the final stop for the White Pass Railway. Of course we will also admire Emerald Lake, called "Rainbow Lake from the locals due to its sensual coloration.

Level: Beginner level, easy to medium walking. Hiking shoes required
Elevation gain: 360 m.
Minimum age: 7 years old.
Child age: 7-17 years. Child must be accompanied by an adult.
Child discount applies if the minimum number of adults has been booked on the tour.
As with most of the outdoor active tours all guest must sign a waiver on arrival to the tour.
